Sept Blog Hop!!

Wow, you mean to tell me it's Sept! And the blog hop is hopin'!

You should have come from:

Kari Bell
www.karikards.blogspot.com

Here's my entry into blogdom:

I love the new colors that A|S has this season. The color is Wasabi. It's kinda of a chartruese/olivine green. Perfect for fall. I used the stamp set "Fresh Foliage" in pumpkin and burgandy pigment inks. And then, with the clear plastic that comes with each and every A|S stamp set, I made it into a window. Using the stamp positioner that A|S sells I aligned them up with the back of the card.
Eek!

And now onto the next Hop:

June Blog Hop!!

Welcome to another Blog Hop!

You should have come from the very talented Kelly!
Kelly Spivey http://www.southpawpaperarts.com

I can't believe it's June already! For this month's blog entry, I thought I would combine it with the A Muse consultant "Kissing Stamps" challenge.

Everytime I do a challenge or Blog Hop, I find myself playing with new color combos. This time is a more serene color combo of Navy, Eucalyptus, Sky. Kinda soothing.... Anyway, the stamp set I used for the card is "Mad for Plaids". Using eucalyptus ink, I stamped criss-cross on sky paper. Then the middle paper strip is made by stamping the Sky horizontally and Eucalyptus vertically. Now for the "kissing stamps" accents, using "Lots of Dots" stamp set for the 3 circles (the largest circle). First stamping the circle in Eucalyptus ink, then stamping on the clean Plaid stamp in a criss-cross patter, then stamping on Sugar paper. Then after punching out the images I then placed them with 3-d form adhesive.  Greeting is from Contemporary Greetings.
Thanks for looking

Now on to the next blog!

Moxie Fab Tuesday Trigger

Another Moxie Fab Challenge! I love polka dots! And with the word Hullabaloo, I mean you have to participate!

Here is my take on this week's two-week challenge!

All materials used for this card is from A Muse Studio. Stamp set "Avian Notes",circles stamp, A|S pigment inks (Papaya, Cranberry), ribbon (Papaya and Cherry dots) Cardstock (Sugar and Bermuda dots)

I hope you likey!

May Blog Hop!

Welcome to our second Blog Hop! I hope you're having fun so far. You should have come from after seeing  Lianna's awesomest(what? it's a word) blog. If you haven't, then check it out from the very beginning at Krystie's blog.

I have an example of what you can make with A Muse Studio's brand products.Stamp set used is "Just Because". Using a base of sugar c/s paper, I masked off a rectangle with post-it notes, and with sky pigment ink placed upside down onto the paper press down, gently, then let totally dry( it only takes a few minutes with this pigment ink!). While waiting for ink to dry I used Tombow markers (#'s 933(orange),676(blackberry),126 (grass))to color the flower stamp, and a very light spray of water then stamp onto Sky rectangle. Place image onto a layer of blackberry and onto a layer of sugar with sentiment and buttons finish it off with a ribbon of heather satin. And voila!

Visit A Muse Studio! They have everything you need to make that perfect card! From themed stamp sets to coordinating colored paper, inks, and bling, you are sure to find all things wonderful! And now for the best part, I will be giving away some blog candy! Including paper, ribbon, buttons and an extra surprise, all you have to do is leave a comment on my blog(Please, include an Email addy with your comment)! I will be choosing a random name and will announce it Fri, May 6th!

I hope you enjoy the rest of the Blog Hop! And now to our very own wonderful and talented Lesa's Blog!
Thanks for playing along!

Moxie Fab Tuesday Trigger

Another week another fabulous Moxie Fab Tuesday Trigger! And get this, it's only Weds! Anyway, here's this week's inspirational image:

This image reminds me of my childhood, spending time in the country helping my Mom in her garden. Here's my attempt:

All of the paper, ink, and embellishments are from A Muse Studio. Using a latte A|S cardstock as my base, I took a square of Sugar c/s. Using the flower from A|S Good Fortune I stamped (fern, bubblegum pink, ocean inks)  then  punched out 1" squares of grass, shell, and bahama c/s. I affixed them onto the sugar square using mounting tape. Using my two favorite things from A Muse, buttons and the tiny flower ribbon to finish off the card.

Thanks for looking!

Moxie Fab Tuesday Trigger

I'm getting my mojo in gear. After a challenge here and blog hop last week, I've been trying to keep up this momentum! Made possible with all of the neat stamps, ink, paper and bling from A Muse. Here is my take on Farm Fresh.

I concentrated on the colors of the challenge and came up with this. I'm am a sucker for anything floral, and will try and incorporate it in any way onto my projects. All materials used in this project is from A Muse Studio. Paper, Sugar, ocean, Bahama Blue damask shimmer. Ink, sky, orange, tux black. Orange satin ribbon. Very simple and easy!

Let's go to the Hop!

Hi Everyone! I hope everyone is enjoying the Blog Hop so far! Let me introduce myself, my name is Lisa and I  love all things A Muse! Welcome to my site! To celebrate the new venture that is A Muse Studio, a special blog hop was orchestrated by our fearless leader Krystie! For those who aren't in the know, A Muse Studio is a brand new direct sales company. Selling what you say? Selling rubber stamps. But not just rubber stamps but paper, ribbon, ink...etc. Basically everything you have ever needed to make your own cards!

Anyway, this is a blog hop to further promote this wonderful company. Clicking on the link the another blog until the last will give you an idea of what is possible, if you use the products sold by A Muse Studio! Here is my example of a card using only items that can be found in the Amuse Studio catalog and inspiration guide:

Using the Stamps from the starter kit (they give you alot of starter stamps from different whole sets to give you an idea of the many cute things you can do). From a card base of Bermuda Blue (Just love that color!) I used a Bermuda Damask shimmer paper strip on the side. Sugar cardstock anchors the raised Ocean color C/S stamped with the Birdcage in sugar pigment ink. Using a craft knife I carefully cut a "door" out the cage and stamp the little bird in cranberry pigment ink. Cutting the Bermuda Blue Tiny Flower Ribbon into individual flowers and adding them to the corner.Finishing it off with some bling added to the musical notes in the other corner to balance out the top. Sentiment is then stamped in French Roast pigment ink, giving it a little softer look. Very simple, Very A Muse!
Here's your chance to win some Blog Candy! Just leave a comment before April 7th 3pm and you will get an assortment of Amuse goodies (including buttons, ribbons, paper, etc). And, if you place an order of 50.00 or morethrough my store , you will get an additional gift: free paper (asst colors)!
Thanks for hopping along with us! If you enjoy this little example of A Muse Studio creation, you are going to love the next one! Come on hop with me!
Enjoy!!

Changes and Challenges....

I have just signed up to be a consultant for the brand new venture A Muse Studio! I've never done anything like this in my life. This will get interesting....

For those who may not know this, but A Muse Studio is a rubber stamping company that just re-organized and changed their mission statement. The are a home-based sales/demonstrator business. Kinda like Tupper-ware, Pampered Chef for the rubber stamping world. I'm not sure where this will take me, but I know at the very least I'll be my best customer, LOL!

I just ordered my starter kit and have some of the original wood stamps so that I can start creating soon. Pics, hopefully to follow.....

Sunday, March 6, 2011

Wow! I'ts been a looong time!

I know! It has been a long time since the last post! Since moving to the new house and work changes, I've been negligent about posting...
Hopefully though I will try to not be such a stranger to ...myself, LOL!
